The Lowcountry Community Theatre Festival is a two-day celebration of local talent, creativity, and community storytelling. Actors of all ages are invited to perform monologues or two-person scenes in a supportive, black-box theatre environment. Our goal is to provide an accessible, low-cost way for emerging performers to take the stage and shine.

Rehearsal Window: February 24–28, 2026
Festival Weekend: March 6–7, 2026

Divisions include:

Youth Division (ages 8–17)

Adult Division (18+)

Comedic Monologue

Dramatic Scene (two performers)

What to Expect

All performances are staged on a minimalist, black-box-style set. Performers may bring small hand props or simple set pieces that they can carry and place themselves.

Festival staff will provide:

A brief rehearsal block (scheduled Feb. 24–28)

Technical walk-through (lights/sound basics)

A welcoming, professionally supported performance environment
